Senior Congress leader P T Thomas MLA rejected the controversial statement of Pala Diocese Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangad that Catholic girls and youths are being victimized by narcotic jihadists at an early age. He opined that it is rare in modern times for criminals to act on the basis of caste or religion. In a Facebook post, he said financial gain and the selfishness of individuals are their love for crime.
