Gold, phone robbed after drugging three women in Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Express

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A major theft in Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Express. The train reached the capital city Sunday morning. An unidentified men drugged the three women passengers and then robbed them.

The three drugged Vijayakumari of Thiruvalla, her daughter Anjali and Kousalya of Coimbatore and then robbed their gold and phones. The railway employees found them lying unconscious when the train reached the capital city. Soon the railway police took them to Thycaud Hospital.

The mother-daughter lost nearly ten sovereigns and two mobile phones. The two boarded the train from Nizamudddin and was proceeding to Kayamkulam. In a checking by the RPF after the passengers got off saw the two women lying unconscious.

Kousalya was found in another bogie. Her gold was also robbed. She was travelling from Coimbatore to Aluva. The three had bought food from Coimbatore. It has been indicated the three fell unconscious after having the food.
