Jose K Mani backs Pala bishop in narcotic jihad controversy, says bishop's words were distorted by some

KOTTAYAM: Kerala Congress M leader Jose K Mani has come out in support of Pala Bishop Joseph Kallarangatt in the narcotic jihad controversy. While stating that the bishop only tried to raise awareness of social evil, Jose K Mani added that the bishop's words were distorted by some.

'All he did was point out that drugs are a social evil. Those who criticize the bishop are trying to destroy the brotherhood and peace of the state,' Jose K Mani said in a statement.
