HC says Covid protocol violated during marriage of Ravi Pillai’s son, all marriages should be held equally in Guruvayur

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has ruled that Covid norms were violated during the marriage of the son of noted industrialist Ravi Pillai, in Guruvayur. The court directed to keep in custody the CCTV footages of the wedding. The court also directed to add party Thrissur SP and the sectoral magistrate. The court observed that all marriages should be held equally in Guruvayur.

Ganesh, son of Ravi Pillai and Anjana, an employee of an IT Company in Bengaluru, got married on September 9. The pictures of the marriage attended by many noted personalities including Mohanlal and his wife Suchitra had circulated on social media. Following this, there were allegations that Covid protocol was not adhered to.
