Azhikodan Raghavan's wife K Meenakshi teacher passes away

KANNUR: K Meenakshi Teacher, wife of CPM leader and martyr Azhikodan Raghavan, passed away on Thursday. She was 87 years old. She was undergoing treatment at AKG Hospital, Kannur. Meenakshi teacher got married to Azhikodan Raghavan in 1956. Azhikodan Raghavan was killed on September 23, 1972.

She worked as a high school teacher at Pallikunnu school for 34 years and retired as a headmistress. She won awards such as the NC Sekhar Award, the Devayani Memorial Award and the Vinodini Nalapadam Award.
