Reply satisfactory; former MLA Sivadasan Nair’s suspension cancelled, says K Sudhakaran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The suspension of former KPCC general secretary and former Aranmula MLA K Sivadasan Nair has been cancelled, said KPCC chief K Sudhakaran. The reply given by Sivadasan Nair on the KPCC notice for disciplinary action is satisfactory. He expressed regret and in that case his suspension is being cancelled, informed Sudhakaran. Sivadasan Nair has not opined against any leader. His reply was that the criticism was made with good intentions for the good of the party.

Sudhakaran said the service of Sivadasan Nair with strength and vigour is needed in the Congress’ journey ahead. Sivadasan Nair and K P Anil Kumar was suspended for their harsh response in a channel discussion in connection with the appointment of DCC presidents. The KPCC president announced that Anil Kumar had been expelled. Shortly Anil Kumar announced that he was quitting his congress relationship of 43 years. Anil Kumar, who later joined the CPM was given a warm welcome.
