Kerala records 19,325 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 143 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 19,325 COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Among these, 18,114 persons developed the disease through contact, including 1038 cases without an identified source of infection. 96 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 77 health workers contracted the disease on Saturday.

27,266 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,80,842 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 143 deaths due to the virus on Saturday with the toll rising to 23,439.

Ernakulam 2626, Thrissur 2329, Kozhikode 2188, Thiruvananthapuram 2050, Palakkad 1775, Malappuram 1596, Kollam 1342, Kannur 1119, Kottayam 1013, Alappuzha 933, Pathanamthitta 831, Idukki 708, Wayanad 452, Kasaragod 363.
