Kerala records 19,653 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, 152 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 19,653 COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Among these, 18,657 persons developed the disease through contact, including 807 cases without an identified source of infection. 105 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 84 health workers contracted the disease on Sunday.

26,711 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,73,631 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 152 deaths due to the virus on Sunday with the toll rising to 23,591.

Ernakulam 2810, Thrissur 2620, Thiruvananthapuram 2105, Kozhikode 1957, Palakkad 1593, Kollam 1392, Malappuram 1387, Kottayam 1288, Alappuzha 1270, Kannur 856, Idukki 843, Pathanamthitta 826, Wayanad 443, Kasaragod 263.
