‘Christians are into conversion in country than Muslims, no holy war waged in name of drugs,’ says Vellappally

KOLLAM: Christians are into more conversion in the country than Muslims, said SNDP yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan. He said that when truth is said is being made a communalist. However, not all Christian sections encourage this. No holy war is being waged in the name of drugs, he said rejecting the narcotic jihad statement of Pala Bishop.

Drugs are sold in the premises of schools and colleges in the state. It is not right to blame the Muslim community alone for that. Soumya, who died in Israel, was a woman from the Ezhava community. She was buried in the church. Christian missionaries are the most proselytizing people in the country. The statement of Father Roy Kannanchira, who heads Deepika, against the Ezhava community was uncultured. Kannanchira had asserted that Christian girls are being lured by Ezhava boys. The priesthood is not a license to say anything about anyone, said Vellappally.
