Suni is superintendent of the jail he is lodged, govt sponsors accommodation for prisoners, says K Sudhakaran

KANNUR: KPCC chief K Sudhakaran slammed the government harshly in connection with the phone calls of Kodi Suni, accused in T P Chandrasekharan murder case. He is the superintendent of the jail where he is lodged. He is the one who decides everything including the menu.

Pinarayi responds according to his wishes. It is not suitable to the ruler in democracy. Sudhakaran asked the chief minister to respond to Kodi Suni's phone controversy. People like Kodi Suni, who decides everything in jail, has all facilities to make calls. Sudhakaran said Suni is enjoying all comforts of the LDF rule from the time he was jailed. Sudhakaran said that they have been saying this for quite some time.

Sudhakaran said Kodi Suni is presently lodged in Viyur Jail. The authorities are providing all facilities to Kodi Suni and so there is no point in complaining to them. There is no use telling the administrators of Kerala, who pretend to be deaf and dumb. The KPCC president asked whether it is right to feed prisoners as gusts of the government
