Case against P C George for lewd remarks towards health minister

KOCHI: The police have registered a case against P C George for making lewd remarks against Health Minister Veena George in the name of curbing Covid. The Ernakulam North police registered a case against George following a complaint by a high court lawyer. George made the controversial remarks against the minister in an interview given to the Facebook page of Crime Story Malayalam.

P C George alleged that Veena George is an insult to Kerala and made harsh anti-feminist remarks. The case was filed for insulting womanhood and criticising her through social media. The case is under Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
