Anti-Narcotics sleuths’ dirty game 

Political, religious and community leaders in the state are behind the narcotics controversy. But a team in our police force has no interest in narcotics controversy. Instead, they are interested in going to other states and transporting drugs in a police van. If the work of the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) set up under the Commissioner to curb the sale of illegal drugs in the city of Thiruvananthapuram proves to be correct, these khaki-clad thieves should not be kept in service for even a moment.
According to the intelligence report, the team, which was formed in a big way to seize drugs, was in fact running a business with cannabis dealers. Cannabis was be brought in a police vehicle from Andhra Pradesh and elsewhere. Part of this will be deposited in vacant lots in different parts of the city. The case will be registered by the local police. Cops will pretend they are actually working.
However, what actually happened that the cops worked for ganja goons on government salaries. The intelligence team also received documents showing that a police officer and the leader of the ganja gang had flown to Bangalore together. The anti-drug force was trying to save them by claiming that they have planted cannabis in many places to meet the quota given by top officials.
The only action taken was the dismissal of the Special Action Force. The team, which was formed by the police to nab the drug mafia, was trapped by drug lords was made a pawn in their hands to do their 'job'. Its investigation is likely to slow down after some time. Because the members of this group have a lot of money. It is likely that the officers of that group will join other sections of the police and continue their criminal activities. Therefore, the investigation should be completed as soon as possible and those found guilty should be dismissed from service.
