THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CMD Biju Prabhakar has informed that there will be no KSRTC services from 6 am to 6 pm tomorrow in the wake of a hartal being observed by some workers organisations. There will be no normal services due to the chances of overcrowding and shortage of staffs.
The release stated that local services will be sent on a limited basis along the main route, focusing on hospitals, railway stations and airports under the respective units in case of essential services. However, after six in the evening all stay services including long-route services will resume.
Meantime, BMS, one of the major unions in KSRTC, said they are not attending the strike and will be on duty tomorrow. Many point that the MD's order in favour of the strike is not a right move.
