THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran on Sunday rejected Congress leader P Chidambaram's statement against Pala Bishop in the narcotic jihad controversy.

"I do not know under which circumstance did Chidambaram make such a statement. The leaders in Kerala should be the ones commenting on issues in Kerala," Sudhakaran said. He also said that he won't reject Pala Bishop's statement. He was speaking at a function to welcome former OBC Morcha vice president Rishi Palpu to the Congress.

Sudhakaran also said that there were no serious issues in the party in connection with VM Sudheeran's resignation from the political affairs committee.
"Sudheeran was given chance to say his opinion. We haven't isolated anyone from the party," he said.
