Fire breaks out at building in Kannur

KANNUR: A fire broke out in a two-storey building near the national highway in Thana in Kannur. The fire broke out in a shop where interior work had been completed for the sale of home appliances.

Five rooms on the first floor of the building were burnt. No one was in the building when the fire broke out. The fire also spread to the nearby shops. The fire was put out by three units of fire force from Kannur. The reason behind the fire is not clear.
