Kerala records 11,196 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, 149 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 11,196 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Among these, 10,506 persons developed the disease through contact, including 540 cases without an identified source of infection. 74 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 76 health workers contracted the disease on Tuesday.

18,849 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,49,356 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 149 deaths due to the virus on Tuesday with the toll rising to 24,810.

Thiruvananthapuram 1339, Kollam 1273, Thrissur 1271, Ernakulam 1132, Malappuram 1061, Kozhikode 908, Alappuzha 847, Kottayam 768, Palakkad 749, Kannur 643, Pathanamthitta 540, Idukki 287, Wayanad 230, Kasargod 148.
