THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Congress will not participate in the channel discussions related to Monson Mavunkal who is booked for cheating under the guise of selling antiquities. The Congress leadership has instructed the KPCC spokespersons in this regard.

The KPCC explained that the talks are aimed only at KPCC president K Sudhakaran and therefore Congress representatives should not participate in the talks.

Allegations were also raised against K Sudhakaran in the Monson Mavunkal controversy. Sudhakaran, however, denied the allegations and said that although he knew Monson, he was not involved in money laundering or other activities.
