Two killed in pick-up van-bike crash in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two youths were killed after their bike collided with a pick-up van near Mannanthala Vayampachira pond. The deceased have been identified as Nalanchira native CJ Deepu and Ayiroopara native Vishnu Shankar (27). The accident took place around 5.10 pm on Sunday.

According to sources, the bike, which was coming from the Vattapara area, collided with a pickup van of an online fish market. Though the two youths were rushed to the hospital, their lives could not be saved. The bodies are kept in the mortuary of the Medical College Hospital. Mannanthala police have registered a case.
