Colleges reopen after one-and-a-half years, classes adhere to Covid norms

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The colleges across the state have reopened after a gap of one-and-a half years. The undergraduate students of fifth and sixth semesters and postgraduate students of third and fourth semesters reached colleges today.

The classes are conducted in strict compliance with Covid norms. The students are not allowed to gather or eat together. The authorities have advised students with symptoms not to go to college and not to exchange books, drinking water and food.

The students want to attend class, though attendance is not compulsory, expect them to attend class, said Higher Education Minister R Bindu. Online and offline
