Seven year old dies of rabies after undergoing month-long treatment

KASARAGOD: A seven-year-old boy died of rabies in Cheruvathur in Kasaragod. The deceased was identified as MK Anand, son of Thomas of Valiyapoyil in Alanthatta. Anand, who was bitten by a dog near his home last month, has been undergoing treatment for a month. Three doses of anti- rabies shot were also given. Anandwas a second class student of AUP School in Alanthatta.
