30-year-old woman in police custody for giving quotation to attack husband

THRISSUR: The Nedupuzha police arrested a woman and released her on bail for giving quotation to injure her husband. Nayana (30) was arrested for giving quotation against C P Pramod of Koorkenchery. The case is that she demanded the quotation team to trap her husband in a ganja case over some family issues.

Her plan was to establish that her husband had an illicit affair with another woman and to pour acid on her face and then to put the charge on her husband. Pramod lodged a complaint on March 15 after knowing about it. The investigation found that the woman had spoken to her co-defendants on the phone. Nayana was arrested after receiving a voice message of giving quotation against her husband. Nedupuzha sub inspector K C Baiju said that a non-bailable case has been registered against the woman and there are co-accused in the incident. She will be produced before a magistrate via online on Sunday.
