Accused held for smashing vehicles at Thampanoor railway station, attack after using drugs

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth who smashed vehicles parked at the Thampanoor railway station has been arrested. He has been identified as Abraham, a native of Poojappura. The RPF shadow team arrested the 18-year-old youth. Police said the youth is addicted to drugs. He unleashed the violence after consuming synthetic drug. Abraham entered the parking area of Thampanoor railway station and smashed vehicles in order to show his anger towards his family. Police said Abraham has confessed to the crime. Abraham had a fight with his family the other day and left home shortly. After reaching the pay and park zone of the railway station, he took a stone from there and smashed the vehicles. Police said that he had no plans to steal. No valuable item has been lost from the vehicle.

Some things including sunglass have been lost. More can be known only after other car owners arrive. The accused told police that he had destroyed the things taken from the car. The police took him into custody from his home after examining the CCTV footages. He was at home when the police reached there. Abraham told police that he did this after having a fight with his family. His family also said that he had gone out after the quarrel.
