Opens exit door of train mistaking it as toilet’s door, 10-year-old boy falls to death

KOTTAYAM: A 10-year-old boy fell to death from a train when he opened the exit door of the train mistaking it as the door of the toilet. Muhammad Ishaan, son of Siddique of Mambad, Malappuram, fell to death from the Kochuveli-Nilambur Road Rajyarani Express. The incident happened when Ishaan was returning with his family after attending a wedding in Thiruvananthapuram.

The incident happened at 11.45 pm last night at Mooledam in Kottayam. Relatives said Ishaan may have mistakenly opened the exit door. Although the boy was taken to the hospital after stopping the train, his life could not be saved.
