THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The discharge plea of Minister V Sivankutty and others in the assembly ruckus case have been rejected. The court has asked all the six accused to appear in the court on November 22. The decision is that of the Thiruvananthapuram CJM Court. The court rejected the pleas of the six accused--V Sivankutty, E P Jayarajan, K T Jaleel, Kunhammed Master, C K Sadasivan and K Ajith. The charge sheet will be read to them on November 22.

The offenders argued that it is incorrect to say that public property had been destroyed as reported in the media, and that they were not the only six accused. They argued that the police investigation was not in the right way and only the watch and ward were made witnesses. However, the prosecution argued that what should not be done by a people’s representative was witnessed from the side of the six accused and therefore their pleas should not be accepted. The court's action is after approving this.
