Kerala records 11,079 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, 123 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 11,079 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. Among these, 10,608 persons developed the disease through contact, including 360 cases without an identified source of infection. 53 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 58 health workers contracted the disease on Wednesday.

9972 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 97,630 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 123 deaths due to the virus on Wednesday with the toll rising to 26,571.

Ernakulam 1794, Kozhikode 1155, Thiruvananthapuram 1125, Thrissur 1111, Kottayam 925, Kollam 767, Idukki 729, Malappuram 699, Kannur 554, Pathanamthitta 547, Palakkad 530, Alappuzha 506, Wayanad 387, Kasaragod 250.
