Fraud case against Monson Mavunkal; Anitha Pullayil to be summoned by crime branch

KOCHI: The Crime Branch investigation into the antique fraud case is progressing. Anitha Pullayil, an expatriate woman, will be summoned by the crime branch. Anitha had handed over some information related to Monson to the investigation team.

As the patron of Malayalee Federation, Monson had connections with several prominent expatriates. Anitha had previously said that she had a close friendship with Monson, and that she ended her friendship with him after realising that Monson was a fraud. It was Anitha who introduced Monson to former DGP Lokanath Behera.

Anitha, a native of Thrissur, is married to an Italian. She has been living in Italy for the past 23 years. Anitha is the global coordinator of the Pravasi Malayalee Federation (PMF) and a member of the Loka Kerala Sabha.
