THRISSUR: A youth vandalised some cars of a driving school in protest against the delay in getting date for the driving test. The incident happened last night at the house of Anil, owner of Gouri Nanda driving school, at Kozhukkully in Thrissur.

The youth hailing from Mudikkode and two of his friends barged into Anil’s house and unleashed the violence. They later destroyed the fish tank and created an uproar. They damaged the cars after threatening the family with a knife. The inmates of the house did not allow them to enter the house.

The driving schools of the district staged protests against the incident. The CITU and BMS organisations protested demanding the arrest of the accused. The Mannuthy police have identified the attackers.

The driving school organisation said the new dates have not been permitted for those who have applied for the test during Covid time. A verbal dispute breaks out between the people and the driving school authorities in the name of it very often. The owners of the driving school requested the motor vehicle department to intervene to solve this issue.
