Death toll rises to 19, bodies of all who went missing in Kootickal recovered; bodies of children recovered in Kokkayar

KOTTAYAM: The bodies of all those who went missing in the landslide in Kootickal were recovered. The bodies of 10 people, who died in the landslide, and two people, who were washed away by the flash flood, were recovered. Following this, the search came to an end. The bodies of Kavali native Martin, his children Sneha, Sandra, Plappally native Roshni, Sarasamma Mohanan, Soniya, her son Alan have been identified. The bodies of Martin's wife, mother and daughter were recovered yesterday.

Meanwhile, a search is on to find those missing in Kokkayar. The bodies of three children were recovered here. The deceased have been identified as Afna Faisal (8), Afian Faisal (4) and Amna (7).
