‘I don’t deserve it’; Mohanlal’s response when asked to sit on Tipu’s chair

KOCHI: Some crucial revelation on the connection of Monson Mavunkal, the accused in the antiques case, with bigwigs. Suresh, who supplied materials to Monson, revealed that many celebrities except Mohanlal have sat on Tipu’s throne.

Suresh said that when Monson asked superstar Mohanlal to sit on Tipu’s throne, the actor said that he don’t deserve to sit on the throne if it belonged to Tipu. He said he was questioned more than ten times by customs officials in the case.
