Two youths killed in bike-car collision

KANNUR: Two youths were killed after a bike collided with a car in Thavakkara in Kannur. The deceased have been identified as Ernakulam Mookkannoor native Gowtham Krishna (21) and Thabore native Jis Joy (23). According to sources, the bike they were travelling in collided with a car before hitting an electric post. Though the two were rushed to the hospital, their lives could not be saved.

The accident took place when the youths, who were employees of Kannur Sky Palace Hotel, were returning to their residence after work at midnight on Saturday.
