'Ajith fell in love with Anupama after getting married to me, joined party after marriage'; Ajith's first wife opens up about divorce

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ajith's first wife Nasiya has come up with crucial revelation in the adoption controversy. Nasiya said that when Ajith found out that Anupama was pregnant, he told her that he would avoid Anupama somehow.

"Upon finding that Anupama was pregnant, he told me that he would avoid Anupama somehow. However, both of them tried to avoid me," Nasiya said.

Nasiya also said that she was threatened and physically assaulted by Ajith to agree to the divorce. "I was initially against the divorce as I had nowhere to go. I did not file for divorce wholeheartedly. Both Ajith and Anupama forced me to agree to the divorce. Ajith threatened and physically assaulted me. ," she said.

She also denied allegations that it was Anupama's father who was backing her to defame Anupama and Ajith.

"I got married to Ajith in 2011. Ajith fell in love with Anupama after getting married to me. He joined the party after the marriage. Anupama's father had asked me not to file for divorce. He said that the baby would be moved elsewhere and Anupama would marry someone else," she added.
