Beverages employee goes missing with collection money of more than Rs 31 lakh, sends text he has financial issues

PALAKKAD: An employee left the Kanjirapuzha Beverages outlet with a four days collection of more than Rs 31 lakh. Gireesh, an employee of Kanjiram shop, took Rs 31,25,240 with him. His phone signal is not available after the Walayar border. So the police suspect that he has entered Tamil Nadu. Mannarkkad police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.

The collection from October 21 to 24 was taken to deposit in the bank. The money was taken to the SBI branch in Chiraykalpadi. Gireesh, who had taken money from the shop manager, sent a voice message to the manager on the phone saying that he has financial problems and that he is leaving. He filled fuel from a nearby petrol pump. Police have received this information and footage.
