Nurse attacked in Cherthala, sustains facial fracture

ALAPPUZHA: A nurse of Alappuzha Medical College was attacked. The nurse has been identified as S Santhi (34) of Alappuzha Medical College and a resident of Pallippuram Kelamangalam Vinay Bhavan. The incident happened near Nedumbrakkad Government School on Sunday night while she was returning home after duty.


He hit her scooter thrice. Santhi who fell on the road was taken to the hospital by other passengers and locals of the area. As she felt uneasiness, an X-ray was taken and noticed a facial fracture. The Cherthala police have registered a case.

Though a car which came behind followed him, they were not able to catch him. The police registered a case and are investigating. She said that she could not identify him as he was wearing a helmet.
