Former Miss Kerala and runner-up die in accident, three sustain injuries, one serious

KOCHI: Former Miss Kerala and runner-up died in a car accident early Monday morning. Ansi Kabeer (25), Miss Kerala of 2019 and runner-up Dr Anjana Shajan were the two killed. The accident happened at Vyttila early morning at one am.

The car in which they were travelling lost control and overturned after hitting a bike. Two in the car and the motorist sustained injuries. Muhammed Ashiq and Abdul Rehman who were in the car have been admitted to a private hospital. The condition of one is stated to be serious.

The car which met with the accident was proceeding to Chalakudy from Kochi. The car has been completely damaged. Ansi and Anjana are natives of Attingal in the capital city and Thrissur.
