Case against two doctors following POCSO victim's complaint

KOCHI: The Crime Branch have registered a case against two doctors of the Gynecology Department of Ernakulam Medical College for misbehaving with the victim in the POCSO case against fake antique dealer Monson Mavunkal. The action comes four days after the complaint was lodged. The victim and her relative had strongly criticized the police for not registering a case.

Crime branch Kalamassery unit SHO reached the hospital yesterday and recorded the statement of the doctors. The arrests will be made only after examining the case in detail and recording the statements.
