KOCHI: There will be more arrests today in the case of attacking actor Joju George's vehicle. A case has been registered against eight persons including former Kochi mayor Tony Chammini under the non-bailable section. Congress activist P J Joseph of Bhagat Singh Nagar in Vyttila was arrested yesterday.
Joseph’s face was clear in the footages examined. Joseph who sustained injuries in the attack was in his house without seeking treatment. The police took him into custody from his house at 3 pm last evening. His arrest was registered at 7 pm. He will be produced in the court today.
The results of Joseph’s blood samples will be obtained today. Joju said that he suffered a loss of Rs six lakh. Only if this amount is paid in the court, Joseph will be released from the court. A case has been registered against 30 people in connection with the road blockade under non-bailable section.
