KSRTC workers to go on 48-hour strike from Thursday midnight as talks with minister fail

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC workers will go on a 48-hour strike from Thursday midnight demanding a pay hike. The KSRTC bus workers' union decided to go ahead with the strike after talks with Transport Minister Antony Raju failed. The unions said they are considering going on an indefinite strike if necessary. The three organizations, TDF, BMS and KSRTEA, have called for a strike.
