THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KPCC will stage a motor stoppage protest (chakra sthambana strike) today demanding the reduction of petroleum prices. The strike is staged for 15 minutes from 11 am at district headquarters.
The congress leaders said the strike will not cause any difficulties to the public and transportation also will not be disrupted. KPCC chief K Sudhakaran had earlier criticised the government in this issue.
In Thiruvananthapuram, Sudhakaran will lead the strike from Secretariat to Raj Bhavan. Senior congress leaders including opposition leader V D Satheesan will take part in the strike.
