KPAC Lalitha in ICU, needs liver transplantation

KOCHI: Actress KPAC Lalitha has been admitted in the intensive care unit. She has been hospitalized for more than ten days. She was first admitted in Thrissur. She was shifted to Ernakulam yesterday as part of better treatment.

Although there is a slight improvement in the health condition of the actress, the solution is to have a liver transplant, said Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) secretary Edavela Babu.

‘There is a slight improvement in her condition. She is better than before. She was first unconscious. Now she is ok. The only solution is a liver transplant. However, a decision could be taken only after considering her age and health condition,’ said Babu.
