THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition MLAs protested by arriving in the assembly on bicycles in protest against the fuel price hike. The MLAs led by opposition leader V D Satheesan reached the assembly on cycles from the MLA Hostel. The protest ensured the representation of the allied parties. The opposition has called for protest programmes inside and outside the assembly saying the decision of the government not reducing the fuel tax is anti-people action.
The opposition said they will move an adjournment motion notice and will stage protests outside the assembly. As it is the last day of the assembly session, the opposition has decided to intensify the agitation.
