PALAKKAD: Arshitha, wife of RSS activist Sanjith, who was hacked to death the other day, has come forward with a crucial statement. She said that she is able to identify the killers of her husband. I don’t know where they are from, but can identify them, she said while talking to the media.

‘Two days ago, two people came home and asked us to be careful. When I call from office, he used to say that he cannot stand here for so long and will ask me to come fast. Five people attacked him. They pushed me to one side after hacking him first. Then all of them hacked him. I don’t know where they belong to but can identify them,’ she said.

27-year-old RSS activist Sanjith of Elappully was hacked to death yesterday. He was attacked at 8.45 am yesterday morning at Mambaram near the national highway. They pushed Arshitha to one side and then hacked him. Police suspect it to be a sequel of political clashes. SDPI are behind the murder, alleged BJP Palakkad district chief K M Haridas.

A deep cut on his head is the reason for the death. He suffered six hacks on his head alone. There are more than 30 hack injuries all over his body. After leaving about 500 meters from the house, his bike slowed near a pothole on the road. That time the team in the alto car hacked him on his hand. When the couple fell down, they alighted from the car. One of them pushed Arshitha to one side. The other four hacked him from all sides. He died on the spot itself after sustaining serious injuries on his hands and legs. The miscreants fled after confirming his death. The people who rushed to the spot took him to the hospital in an auto.
