Patient's bystander brutally beaten by security guards at Medical College; video 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A patient's bystander was brutally beaten by the security guards at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. As per the complaint, the youth was beaten by the security guards following a dispute over his entry to the hospital. The incident took place around 11 am on Friday.

The incident took place when the youth attempted to enter the hospital through a gate near the old mortuary. A dispute broke out between the security guards and the youth after the guards denied him entry to the hospital. Following this, more guards reached the spot and assaulted the youth. Witnesses said that the security guards continued beating the youth after pushing him inside the gate. According to the youth, two security guards had assaulted him the other day, and that he was brutally beaten again today for filing a complaint against them. Police have registered a case based on the youth's complaint.
