Govt rejects demand of theatre owners, says full seating capacity cannot be allowed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government on Saturday rejected the demand of the theatre owners who urged that full seating capacity should be allowed in the theatres in the state. The decision was taken at a special review meeting. The meeting, which assessed the general situation of Covid spread in the state, announced that existing curbs will remain in place.

The meeting also decided to expedite the second dose of vaccination in the state.
