THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Anupama and Ajith gave their samples for the DNA test to know whether they are the parents of the baby given for adoption. They gave their samples for the DNA test at the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology. The results would be obtained after three days. The samples of the baby brought from Andhra Pradesh was taken in the morning.

The baby is housed at the Nirmala Bhavan Child Care Centre in Palayam with the permission of district child protection officer under the supervision of the child welfare committee. After a detailed medical examination, the authorities of Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology reached the bhavan and took the samples of the baby. Anupama had earlier demanded to conduct the medical test of the baby in her presence today itself.

The baby was handed over to the Andhra couple on August 6. The baby was handed over to the couple when Anupama’s complaint that the child handed over to the child welfare committee on October 23 in 2020 is hers.
