12-year-old boy injured as ice cream bomb explodes in Kannur

KANNUR: A twelve-year-old boy was injured after he played with an ice cream bomb mistaking it to be a ball. The incident took place at Narivayal near Dharmadom in Kannur. The child sustained injuries to his chest and legs. Sources said that the injuries are not serious. The child is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Thalassery. Police reached the spot and examined the area.
