Girl found hanging in husband’s house, brother alleges domestic harassment

PALAKKAD: A 19-year-old girl was found hanging at her husband’s house. She has been identified as Nafla, wife of Mujeeb of Athaniparambil. She was found hanging in her bedroom.

Her brother Afzal alleged that she died due to domestic harassment faced in her husband’s house. Nafla is the daughter of Abdul Rehman and Kamurulaisa of Ummini Dhoni.

Nafla and Mujeeb got married ten months ago. When Mujeeb came home on Thursday night, he found the bedroom door locked. He broke opened the door after she failed to open even after calling and then found her hanging. Although she was rushed to a private hospital in Pathiripala, her life could not be saved.
