Delay in receiving benefits, former security staff of MCH commits suicide

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A former security staff of the Medical College Hospital committed suicide. Jins Joseph, a native of Mannanthala, committed suicide. Jins, a security guard at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, was sacked a few days ago. His appointment was through the NHM. His friends said that Jins did not get many of the benefits he should have received. It is alleged that Jins complained about this several times but no action was taken. Friends allege that he committed suicide following a severe financial crisis.
