Illicit liquor claims two lives in Irinjalakuda

THRISSUR: Two friends died after consuming illicit liquor. The two have been identified as Nishanth (43) and Biju (42), natives of Irinjalakuda. They consumed the liquor last night at 9 pm. Soon after consuming the liquor, they suffered uneasiness and collapsed.

Although they were taken to the hospital, their lives could not be saved. The samples of the liquor have been sent for examination at Kakkanad regional lab. Biju was running a tea stall on Kattoor road and Nishanth was owner of a poultry farm.
