PG doctors' strike scheduled for Wednesday called off

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: PG doctors in the state have decided to call off the strike, scheduled to take place on Wednesday. The decision was taken after obtaining the assurance of the Health Minister that action would be taken within two days. During the meeting with the doctors, Health Minister Veena George said that the shortage of PG doctors would be filled soon. Non-academic junior academic doctors will be appointed. The minister said action would be taken in this regard within two days.
