Running car catches fire on M C Road, narrow escape for passengers

KOCHI: Fire engulfed a moving car at Perumbavoor. The car owned by Dhanesh Madathiparambil of Ayyambuzha caught fire Wednesday morning at 7.45 am. Short circuit is suspected to be the reason for the fire.

The incident happened when the Indica Car was moving towards Pulluvazhi from M C Road Ayyambuzha. The fire was doused by a team consisting of Sunil Mathew, Benny Mathew, U Ujesh, T B Mithun, K K Biju and Benny George and led by Perumbavoor Fire Station Officer N H Asainar. The passengers had a narrow escape.
